School districts and businesses alike have shifted to contact-free business and work from home; drastically changing the manner in which we conduct business. As we all evolve, so do fraudsters, who look to exploit areas of vulnerability in our day to day operations. The urgency to adapt, understand, and improve cyber security is an essential business function in this virtual world. Prepare for a jam packed hour, as PNC and their partners at VISA will address trends in fraud activity in this post-pandemic world. We will share what is happening behind the scenes to protect businesses from fraud and enhance cyber security. Learn about the life cycle of a card transaction, from initiation to payment, as well as what happens if a suspicious transaction is identified. We will discuss how to optimize security controls and dispute transactions. PNC will also share information on new security features coming to further protect card transactions. Lastly, our Ohio Public Finance Group will discuss real life case studies involving school district fraud, and best practices to avoid these scenarios in your district.
