A course for those seeking their treasurer’s license through OASBO’s, ODEW Approved Pathway 3, or for all types of business officials. This is a curriculum-based course, designed to provide you with foundational knowledge in School Business Leadership.

Randy Drewyor
Treasurer/CFO, Perrysburg EVSD
Randy joined the Perrysburg Exempted Village School District team in September 2021 as Treasurer/CFO for the district. Randy came to Perrysburg after as Treasurer/CFO for Huron City Schools and the Bright Local School District. Randy has used his skills as an educator in management & finance and business leader to improve fiscal office and district operations and improve communications with the Board of Education and public.
Ryan Pendleton
Executive Director, Shared Service Alliance (SSA)
Ryan Pendleton is the Executive Director of the Shared Services Alliance where he coordinates financial and operations support for northeast Ohio school districts through the Educational Service Centers of Northeast Ohio, Medina, and Lorain Counties.
Ryan is very active in state and federal issues concerning education and the potential impact on the students of Ohio. He is a member of the Fair School Funding Work Group, co-chairing both the Base Cost and Analysis and Support Groups. As an inaugural member of the Work Group, Ryan made significant contributions to creating and advocating for Ohio’s new state funding formula. His efforts contributed to the Fair School Funding Formula being included in the 2022-2023 Biennium Budget.
Ryan is a Leadership Akron Class 32 graduate and dedicated to serving the community, in particular the students across Ohio. Prior to working at North Coast Shared Service Alliance, Ryan was the CFO/Treasurer of Akron Public and Barberton City Schools and worked previously as a financial advisor.
Ryan earned a BA in Business Administration from Malone College and an MBA from Cleveland State University.
Rob Showalter
Treasurer, Fairview Park City SD
Rob serves as Treasurer of the Fairview Park City Schools, a position he's held since 2021. Prior to that, he has served as Treasurer for Midview Local Schools, Assistant Treasurer for Strongsville City Schools, and Internal Auditor for Cleveland Schools. He is an active member of OASBO, currently serving as Past President for the Northeast Chapter and Trustee on the OASBO Foundation Board.
George Anagnostou
Treasurer/CFO, Strongsville City Schools
George Anagnostou became the Treasurer/CFO for the Strongsville City School District in 2015. Anagnostou has eighteen years’ experience in government accounting. Prior to working at Strongsville City Schools, he spent seven years at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD). Prior to his time at CMSD, Anagnostou spent six years as a Project Accountant for the State of Ohio Auditor's Office – Local Government Services Division.
Anagnostou graduated from Youngstown State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He completed a Strategic Data Project Fellowship in conjunction with Harvard University in 2014. The two-year program develops data strategists in school systems, state education departments, and nonprofit providers.
Anagnostou has received the following recognitions: OASBO Distinguished Service Award NE Region, Auditor of State Award with Distinction, ASBO Meritorious Budget Award, ASBO Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting, and GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.

Treasurer/ CFO, North Royalton City SD
Craig Yaniglos
Treasurer, Brecksville-Broadview Heights SD
Craig Yaniglos began his career as a Treasurer/CFO in 2017 at Brookfield Local School District (BLSD), and briefly the Treasurer/CFO of BLSD and Niles City Schools (2019) before accepting his current position at Brecksville-Broadview Heights CSD. Craig's career began by inheriting a district under the fiscal emergency designation for 4 years and quickly turned the district around in 10 months to remove its emergency designation. He was later asked to perform shared services with Niles City Schools, which was under fiscal emergency designation for a little over a year, and began the process of restoring fiscal integrity. Shortly after undertaking two districts though, Craig was recruited and hired by Brecksville-Broadview Heights CSD in February of 2020 where he is currently the Treasurer/CFO.
Kristine Blind
Treasurer/CFO, London City Schools
Kristine Blind is the CFO/Treasurer for the London City School District in Madison County. She previously held this position from August 2011 through August 2017 before leaving for the same position with Gahanna-Jefferson Local Schools.
Kristine has been involved in school finance since 1996, beginning as a support staff member in Washington County. She has held several positions throughout her career before becoming a Treasurer in 2009. As a long-time OASBO member, Kristine has participated in numerous committees and serves as a seminar director, mentor as well as frequent presenter.
Katie Johnson, Esq.
Executive Director, OASBO
Katie Johnson is the Executive Director of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials. Katie is the seventh Executive Director and the first woman to lead the organization since its inception in 1936.
Katie was the Deputy Executive Director for OASBO prior to being named Executive Director. In that role, she served as legislative lead and in-house legal counsel for the association, keeping staff and members abreast of legal and regulatory compliance issues in school business. In addition, she has served as the chief learning officer, developing curriculum to support OASBO’s strategic plan and the Ohio school business profession.
Katie also serves on boards and committees focused on public finance, including serving as a member on the Finance and Appropriations Committee for Columbus City School District, as Treasurer of the Confluence Community Authority, and as past President of the Ohio Chapter of Women in Public Finance.
Katie holds a bachelor's degree in Business Finance from the University of Colorado, a master’s degree in Education from The Ohio State University, and a law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
Jeremie Hittle
Treasurer, Piqua City School District
Jeremie Hittle, SFO is the CFO/Treasurer of Piqua City Schools where he oversees a budget of more than $50 million in public funds. Jeremie is dedicated to providing the best possible educational opportunities for every student, while tightly managing precious community funds. He is very active in state and federal issues concerning education and the potential impact on the students of Ohio. During his career, Jeremie has received multiple state and national awards including the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction, Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials International, the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association. Jeremie has over 15 years of experience working both as a social studies teacher and Treasurer/CFO. Jeremie earned a BA in Business Administration, Public Administration, and Political Science from Capital University and an MS in Education from the University of Dayton. In November 2019 Jeremie earned the designation of a Certified Administrator of School Finance.
