The Federal E-Rate program, authorized in 1996, has had a significant impact on education providing financial assistance to school districts focusing initially on internet access, telecommunications and internal connections. Due to technology advances and how these solutions are delivered through services, the E-Rate program was further expanded 8 years ago with Category 2 funding, in addition to Category 1. Unfortunately, millions of dollars go unused by districts in Ohio. This webinar will discuss the contents of these programs, and how to maximize your district’s funding to impact student education and business operations.
