Finance officers need a seat at the table when school districts are planning for facilities. This presentation will highlight the different ways that finance officers can contribute in the planning process as well as demonstrating tools the tools that are available to make better financial decisions when it comes to facilities.

Scott Stubbins, Executive Director - Funding Services provides financial advisory services to local governments, including the school districts, cities, counties and utilities. Scott strives to provide clients creative solutions, fusing policy objectives with a robust analytical approach. In his career, Mr. Stubbins has completed in financings the totaling over $4 billion for local government clients. Mr. Stubbins graduated from the Bowling Green State University with a B.A. in Business Administration. Scott lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife, three children and two dogs. Mr. Stubbins believes in the power of arts in education and has put this belief in to action previously serving as Treasurer and Chairman of the Board for the Children's Theatre of Cincinnati. In his free time, Scott enjoys traveling, spending time with family, hiking, and lake life.
