Megan is a partner with Weston Hurd in the Education and Labor & Employment groups located in Columbus, Ohio. She focuses her practice on providing general counsel to public school districts in board governance, personnel, and student matters. Megan advises education law clients on complex issues including discipline, due process, public records, Title IX, board policies and procedures, collective bargaining, arbitration, parliamentary procedure, residency and custody disputes, social media, Constitutional rights, and discrimination concerns. Megan also assists districts with collective bargaining needs, including contract review, negotiation, and interpretation and enforcement of collective bargaining agreements. Active in his community, Aaron serves as an advisory board member on the Columbus and Central Ohio Children’s Chorus Foundation, sings with the Choral Union at Capital University, and rides in Pelotonia every year.

In addition, she has served as the chief learning officer, developing curriculum to support OASBO’s strategic plan and the Ohio school business profession.

Michael Hanna has a broad-based labor and employment practice. Mike has negotiated numerous collective bargaining agreements and coordinated strike preparation and litigation. Patrick King joined Stifel in April 2009 after entering the public finance business in 2001 and has worked on hundreds of financings with a par amount of more than $4 billion. Mr. King’s experience includes financings for cities, school districts, libraries, counties, special districts, authorities, and park districts in Ohio. Mr. King received a Masters of Public Administration from John Glenn Institute at The Ohio State University and a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Dayton. He maintains Series 7 and 53 licenses. George Anagnostou became the Treasurer/CFO for the Strongsville City School District in 2015. Anagnostou has eighteen years’ experience in government accounting. Prior to working at Strongsville City Schools, he spent seven years at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD). Prior to his time at CMSD, Anagnostou spent six years as a Project Accountant for the State of Ohio Auditor's Office – Local Government Services Division.
Anagnostou graduated from Youngstown State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He completed a Strategic Data Project Fellowship in conjunction with Harvard University in 2014. The two-year program develops data strategists in school systems, state education departments, and nonprofit providers.
Anagnostou has received the following recognitions: OASBO Distinguished Service Award NE Region, Auditor of State Award with Distinction, ASBO Meritorious Budget Award, ASBO Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting, and GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
Jared Bunting
Treasurer/CFO, Athens City SD
Jared Bunting is the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Athens City School District. He has previously worked as the Treasurer/CFO of the Jackson City School District, during 2022-2024 and the Trimble Local School District from 2014-2022. His background includes work in the Athens County Auditor’s Office from 2010-2014 which provided extensive experience with property taxes and financial reporting.
Jared has been an active member of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO), serving on its board and leading its Legislative Committee. His leadership has been instrumental in advocating for legislative changes beneficial to school finance management. Since 2017, he has also been involved in the Fair School Funding Plan, contributing as a workgroup member from its inception and continues to advocate for fully funding the model.
Jared’s expertise in school finance can be further validated by his certification as an ASBO Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations (SFO).
Terrah Stacy
Treasurer, Springboro Community City SD
Terrah Stacy serves as the Treasurer/CFO of Springboro Community City School district, where she oversees the financial operations of the district; a role she has served in since December 2013. Mrs. Stacy graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in governmental non-profit accounting and received an MBA from Purdue University. She holds a current Ohio School Treasurer’s and Business Manager’s license issued by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). Mrs. Stacy has over twenty-nine years of accounting experience, twenty-five years of which have been in public education.
Kristine Blind

Kristine Blind is the CFO/Treasurer for the London City School District in Madison County. She previously held this position from August 2011 through August 2017 before leaving for the same position with Gahanna-Jefferson Local Schools.
Kristine has been involved in school finance since 1996, beginning as a support staff member in Washington County. She has held several positions throughout her career before becoming a Treasurer in 2009. As a long-time OASBO member, Kristine has participated in numerous committees and serves as a seminar director, mentor as well as frequent presenter.
Katie Johnson, Esq.
Executive Director, OASBO
Katie Johnson is the Executive Director of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials. Katie is the seventh Executive Director and the first woman to lead the organization since its inception in 1936.
Katie was the Deputy Executive Director for OASBO prior to being named Executive Director. In that role, she served as legislative lead and in-house legal counsel for the association, keeping staff and members abreast of legal and regulatory compliance issues in school business. In addition, she has served as the chief learning officer, developing curriculum to support OASBO’s strategic plan and the Ohio school business profession.

Jeremie Hittle, SFO is the CFO/Treasurer of Piqua City Schools where he oversees a budget of more than $50 million in public funds. Jeremie is dedicated to providing the best possible educational opportunities for every student, while tightly managing precious community funds. He is very active in state and federal issues concerning education and the potential impact on the students of Ohio. During his career, Jeremie has received multiple state and national awards including the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction, Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials International, the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association. Jeremie has over 15 years of experience working both as a social studies teacher and Treasurer/CFO. Jeremie earned a BA in Business Administration, Public Administration, and Political Science from Capital University and an MS in Education from the University of Dayton. Nancy joined SORSA as the Loss Control Manager in 2016. She manages the loss control services offered by SORSA including assisting Members to set up customized trainings along with building and playground inspections. Nancy holds a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation as well as a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI). Nancy has spent over 40 years in the insurance industry and was a former independent insurance agent that worked with several SORSA Members. Prior to joining SORSA, she worked for a public-school pool management brokerage firm in California, overseeing the loss control department. Nancy is available to assist districts with on-site property inspections, playground inspections, employee & employment practices training sessions, in-service bus driver training and more.

Dan Romano

Daniel M. Romano is Treasurer/CFO at West Clermont Local Schools in Southwest Ohio in August 2020. He is also CEO and a Co-Founder of Edventures in Learning, Inc. a strategic learning and communication company. Prior to his current roles, Dan spent 23 years in the public sector holding positions as Treasurer/CFO and Business Manager in both Toledo and Sylvania City School Districts in Ohio.
In 1997, Dan was recruited to serve as an international consultant assisting Fortune 500 companies in bringing their strategic plans to life through a methodology that democratized data and dialogue to all parts of the organization. In 2012 Dan, was again recruited. This time by Forecast5 Analytics, a start-up company focused on building a business intelligence and forecasting platform for the Public Sector. Serving as SVP, he was responsible for the development and growth of new and innovative business intelligence and analytic tools to a multistate market of local governments that included Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. In 2016, Dan resumed the full-time helm at Edventures in Learning. More recently the company has expanded its service delivery of innovative tools and resources to engage employees and stakeholders in the critical issues of their organization.
Dan is an active member with OASBO serving on various committees. He also assisted in the development of several of the “Essentials” curriculum which is a major component to an alternative pathway for Ohio school treasurer and Business Manager licenses.Dan received both his Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toledo.

Brock Miskimen practices construction, procurement, and ethics law. In his construction practice, he regularly advises clients on project delivery systems and prepares procurement and bidding documents as well as construction project contracts.
Brock worked in various government offices prior to joining Bricker Graydon, giving him the experience to assist clients in navigating the various levels of government. Most notably, he served as chief legal counsel for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), where he also advised the Oil and Gas Leasing Commission. While there, he coordinated litigation involving ODNR with the Ohio Attorney General's Office including the settlement of a multi-million-dollar litigation matter involving decades of flooding. Ms. Wessendorf-Wortman is a shareholder with the firm. She advises clients on a variety of educational law matters including labor and employment issues, student discipline and rights, special education and 504 matters, relationships with school resource officers, serving transgender students, employee misconduct and investigations, booster matters, and general school law practice. She is a member of the firm’s Special Education and Workers’ Compensation Practice Teams. Ms. Wessendorf-Wortman has served as a lead negotiator in bargaining and defended boards of education in arbitration, court cases, special education mediation, and due process hearings. Donna Andrew

Donna Andrew has represented school boards as a labor negotiator in both teaching and nonteaching collective bargaining since 1999. Donna assists school boards in complex discipline investigations and termination matters, including related litigation. Donna also has extensive experience in all administrative levels of workers’ compensation and unemployment matters, including assisting school boards in implementing strategies to lower workers’ compensation premiums.
Donna also advises school boards in general school law matters, including defending school boards against discrimination claims in a variety of forums and in special education matters. Donna’s practice also includes providing in-service workshops and presentations to help prevent costly legal issues before they occur.

The District is the 6th largest school district in the State of Ohio serving roughly 21,800 students housed in 31 school buildings. Mr. Garside has served as Treasurer of the South-Western City School District for a total of 21 years and has been a part of constructing 27 new buildings over the course of his career in the District. Mr. Garside also served as Treasurer of the Logan Elm Local Schools for 5 years, as the Executive Director of Budget and Fiscal Management for the Columbus City Schools for 3 years, and served on the School Employees Retirement System Board of Trustees for 6 years.
Izaak Orlansky

Izaak Orlansky is an education attorney, with specific focus on K-12 law. His practice covers labor and employment issues including collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, employee discipline, educator hiring and evaluation, as well as harassment, discrimination and misconduct investigations.
Previously, Izaak served as Chief of Staff for the Office of Teacher Recruitment and Quality in the nation’s largest school district, the New York City Department of Education. Ryan Pendleton is the Executive Director of the Shared Services Alliance where he coordinates financial and operations support for northeast Ohio school districts through the Educational Service Centers of Northeast Ohio, Medina, and Lorain Counties.
Ryan is very active in state and federal issues concerning education and the potential impact on the students of Ohio. He is a member of the Fair School Funding Work Group, co-chairing both the Base Cost and Analysis and Support Groups. As an inaugural member of the Work Group, Ryan made significant contributions to creating and advocating for Ohio’s new state funding formula. His efforts contributed to the Fair School Funding Formula being included in the 2022-2023 Biennium Budget.
Ryan is a Leadership Akron Class 32 graduate and dedicated to serving the community, in particular the students across Ohio. Prior to working at North Coast Shared Service Alliance, Ryan was the CFO/Treasurer of Akron Public and Barberton City Schools and worked previously as a financial advisor.
Ryan earned a BA in Business Administration from Malone College and an MBA from Cleveland State University.
Rebecca Jenkins
Treasurer/CFO, New Albany-Plain Local Schools
Becky started her career as the assistant treasurer for her Alma Mater, Martins Ferry City Schools. After 12 years, she accepted the treasurer/CFO position for the Wellsville Local School District. Her love of the Central Ohio area found her accepting the assistant treasurer position at the fastest growing school district in the state of Ohio - Olentangy Local Schools. After a year and a half she was promoted to the Treasurer/CFO role. The district grew over twice its size to over 16,000 students under her financial leadership. After nine years with Olentangy Schools, she was recruited by the New Albany-Plain Local Schools and has been with this district for ten+ years. Becky has had the fortune of leading districts considered both wealthy and poor which gives her a unique perspective on the various challenges diverse districts face.
During these career transitions, Becky also helped lead OASBO. She held the offices of Board Southeast Region Director, Vice-President, President Elect, President and Immediate Past President. Through the years she has served on numerous committees and continues to serve on the Legislative Committee as well as many focus committees. Becky is also asked to speak on a variety of topics not only for OASBO seminars but other state organizations as well.
Kristine Blind
Treasurer/CFO, London City Schools
Kristine Blind is the CFO/Treasurer for the London City School District in Madison County. She previously held this position from August 2011 through August 2017 before leaving for the same position with Gahanna-Jefferson Local Schools.
Kristine has been involved in school finance since 1996, beginning as a support staff member in Washington County. She has held several positions throughout her career before becoming a Treasurer in 2009. As a long-time OASBO member, Kristine has participated in numerous committees and serves as a seminar director, mentor as well as frequent presenter.
Meghan Sullivan Homsher
Senior Analytics Advisor, Frontline Education
Meghan Sullivan-Homsher joined Frontline Education on Feb. 1, 2022. She was previously with the Ohio Department of Taxation and has been a great resource to Ohio schools. Meghan had been with the Tax Analysis Division of ODT since 2005. Her responsibilities have included providing analysis of proposed legislation and contributing to department publications. Meghan’s specific areas of interest include property tax, school district income tax, and state/local revenue sharing.
Chris Mohr
K12 Business Consulting, Inc., OASBO Past President and Retired Treasurer
Chris has over 38 years of proven successful governmental finance and management experience and is a licensed school treasurer, business manager, and holds an Ohio Health, Life and Variable Annuity license. He began his career at the Ohio Auditor of State's Office as an examiner and field audit supervisor leaving that position to become Treasurer/CFO and Executive Director of Business Affairs of public school system in 1984. He has served district from $30 million to $200 million in budget and has managed both CFO and Director of Business Affairs simultaneously in Dublin and Springfield CSD. Chris has received many awards during his career including Ohio School Treasurer of the Year, Ohio School Business Manager of the Year and the Virginia Ramsay Award for Distinguished Service to the profession. He brings considerable expertise to school clients in five year forecast assistance in areas of modeling, projecting and presentation; levy analysis; school comparison studies; efficiency reviews; budget preparation and monthly financial report preparation; superintendent and treasurer executive recruiting; mentoring for school business officials, and strategic planning.
Chris earned a MBA majoring in finance and administration, along with a BS in accounting from Miami University of Ohio, and an AS in business administration from Edison State College. He also holds a designation of Registered School Business Administrator and holds the Ohio Financial Accountability Certificate issued by the auditor of state's office.
Ryan Ghizzoni

Ryan Ghizzoni, National Senior Manager of Business Analytics, began his career in finance at the Auditor of State’s Office, and served over 15 years as a school district treasurer before switching to the private sector to provide solutions and support on a larger scale. During his CFO career, he has been the recipient of several ‘Association of School Business Officials’ International Meritorious Budget Awards and was the recipient of the ‘Ohio Association of School Business Officials’ 2011 Outstanding Treasurer of the Year Award. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Youngstown State University and is a Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations.
Adam Zink
Treasurer/CFO, Lakota Local SD (Liberty Township)
Adam Zink is currently the Treasurer/CFO at Lakota Local Schools in Butler County. Prior to his current position he served as the Assistant Treasurer at Lakota for six years. Mr. Zink also served as Treasurer/CFO at Hillsboro City Schools, and Ripley Union Lewis Huntington Local School District. He is the past-president of the Ohio Valley OASBO chapter. Adam also works as a Consultant with K-12 Business Consulting assisting treasurers with development of the five-year forecast, negotiation models, and other fiscal reporting.
Kimberly Schurr Richard
Assistant Administrator - Financial Analysis and Fiscal Oversight, Department of Education & Workforce
Since 2016, Kim has served at the Department of Education & Workforce (previously Ohio Department of Education), as the assistant administrator of the Office of Financial Analysis & Oversight which manages school district bond finance related approvals, performs five-year forecast examinations, provides technical assistance to school districts projecting potential deficits and administers fiscal oversight of school districts in fiscal caution, fiscal watch, and fiscal emergency. Kim is a licensed treasurer and business manager with over twenty years of budget and financial management experience in both the profit and non-profit business sectors.
Craig Yaniglos
Treasurer, Brecksville-Broadview Heights SD
Craig Yaniglos began his career as a Treasurer/CFO in 2017 at Brookfield Local School District (BLSD), and briefly the Treasurer/CFO of BLSD and Niles City Schools (2019) before accepting his current position at Brecksville-Broadview Heights CSD. Craig's career began by inheriting a district under the fiscal emergency designation for 4 years and quickly turned the district around in 10 months to remove its emergency designation. He was later asked to perform shared services with Niles City Schools, which was under fiscal emergency designation for a little over a year, and began the process of restoring fiscal integrity. Shortly after undertaking two districts though, Craig was recruited and hired by Brecksville-Broadview Heights CSD in February of 2020 where he is currently the Treasurer/CFO.

After 31 years as Treasurer/CFO of NwOESC, Dorthy joined the Department of Education & Workforce (previously Ohio Department of Education), as a fiscal consultant in 2016. She uses her experience as a treasurer to provide technical assistance to school districts experiencing fiscal distress, including districts in fiscal caution, watch and emergency. She was granted the Virginia Ramsey Service Award for chapter, committee, and local efforts.
Cajon Keeton

Cajon Keeton is the Treasurer for the Benton-Carroll-Salem School District in Northwest Ohio. Prior to becoming a Treasurer, Cajon spent 5 years in the classroom as a business and technology teacher. He has a passion for school finance, as well as teaching and learning.
Mr. Keeton holds a B.A. in Education (Bowling Green State University) and a M.A. in Educational Administration (Tiffin University).
Jeff Dornbusch

Jeff Dornbusch is the Treasurer for the Port Clinton City School District in Northwest Ohio. He also serves on his local school board as well as a member of the board of directors for his local community hospital.
Prior to becoming a Treasurer Jeff spent 15 years in the private sector as a corporate controller. He also has a business education teacher license and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration.
Jeff also runs Golden Gate Financial Services, LLC which provide financial consultations to public schools in Ohio.
